Built in Beaufort, North Carolina, all Jarrett Bay models are hand-built by a team of craftsmen. Every component passes through the skilled fingers of woodworking artisans, the most intuitive mechanics, and experienced, reliable fiberglass technicians. Boats here are birthed, not produced.
From the drawing board to commissioning day, each Jarrett Bay is designed to be fast to the weed line or canyon, and well equipped to systematically locate, hook and leader fish. These trips offshore are safe and comfortable, thanks to Jarrett Bay’s cold-molded hull-construction method that bonds planked fir and Okoume ply with a proprietary epoxy composite formula, the whole of which is then sheathed in knitted fiberglass cloth. This method creates a strong, lightweight structure that will withstand the abuse of fishing the treacherous waters of North Carolina’s famous inlets.

34 Walkaround Express
Jarrett Bay is consistently dedicated to a growing family of owners who typically skipper large, custom yachts. However, Jarrett Bay offers access to this world through a semiproduction, all-fberglass, outboard-powered 34-footer.
A forward berth provides surprisingly ample sleeping quarters for overnighting.
They call this walkaround a “semiproduction” boat, but upon inspection, it’s clearly like no other production craft. Its major components and bulkheads are fixed to keep the building process consistent from hull to hull. Each new 34 Walkaround’s personality will match its new owner but at a price competitive to common production vessels.
For example, in the cockpit owners can add iceboxes, and use their discretion and intuition in placing them. The same goes for storage features like fsh boxes in the sole, and for accommodations below deck.
Unlike its larger siblings, the 34 Walkaround features a cored-fiberglass hull with no structural wood, allowing for faster production cycles. Weighing in at 8,500 pounds, the model provides good fuel efficiency and satisfying speed with twin-outboard propulsion.
