V-28 Bay

Overview

The Valhalla V-28 is the first true bay boat to be introduced into Valhalla’s lineup of high performance, fish forward center consoles. The V-28 shares the same Stepped V Ventilated Tunnel bottom and yacht-quality finish as the other Valhalla models, but is much different in function, with large casting platforms and a shallow draft for inshore fishing. The most apparent difference between the V-28 and other Valhalla models is on the bow, where most of the deck is raised to serve as a casting area with tremendous storage beneath. The bow can be outfitted with multiple different trolling motor packages, as well as an optional forward livewell and rod storage to port and starboard.

The V-28 also has a large casting platform aft, with a centerline bench and twin livewells which can be closed to create a flat nonskid surface. In addition to the livewells, the cockpit also has two in-deck fishboxes and a leaning post with rod holders, cup holders, and space for a cooler. The leaning post can be upgraded to become a tackle center with a fiberglass cooler, tackle storage, and a helm seating module. The helm itself looks very much like the other Valhalla models, and can be equipped with a variety of electronics packages from either Garmin or Simrad, as well as with multiple helm seating configurations. The V-28 also includes a spacious console with room for an optional head, as well as access to the backside of the electronics and storage.  

The Valhalla V-28 has numerous opportunities for customization, with some options including a fiberglass hardtop with polished aluminum supports, a second station, power poles, Release Marine teak appointments, and upgraded upholstery. Finally, this model is offered with five different engine packages from Mercury and Yamaha going all the way up to 600hp.
