This 1989 model year example is like a time machine taking you back to what a nearly new Ericson 38 would have looked like condition wise, yet with many modern upgrades like a 2024 Raymarine electronics package including radar, new Sea frost refrigeration, new wiring, LED lighting, flag Blue Awlgrip hull, Max Prop, new cushions and so much more! All the standing rigging has been replaced by the riggers at Mystic Shipyard withing the last few years, do not currently know the exact date.
Mast stripped, painted and all hardware either restored or replaced as needed.
All mast wiring & lighting are new
New custom canvas mast cover to protect it when stored
All running rigging is nearly new
Ace Sails (East Lyme, CT) Mainsail and 150% roller furling genoa are newer, year unknown, but they are still crispy and have been cleaned & stored by a local sailmaker every winter under current owner's care.
