The electrical system was built in full compliance with ABYC standards." The commercial-grade John Deere 6135AFM175 M4 526 HP diesel currently has only 1,375 hours with these models having and expected service life between 10,000-15,000 hours before requiring a rebuild. This 2,100 RPM at WOT engine should allow this boat to easily cruise in semi-planing mode at 16-18 kts at around 1400 RPM, burning an estimated 17 gph. Of course these type of full-keeled downeast hulls are happy cruising at any lower speed you want, for more efficiency while also tracking straight and true.
